A Busy Winter Leads Into a Hot Spring

While winter is usually a quieter time for buyers, this year has been different. Demand has remained incredibly strong over the past few months, and with limited properties available, multiple offers have become the norm. For buyers, the message is clear: if you find the right property, act quickly.

Recent Examples of Buyer Demand

  • Lynton Street, Swanbourne: Two block-value properties attracted more than 100 direct enquiries each and received multiple offers, achieving strong results.
  • Duncraig: In a suburb we don’t often sell in, two side-by-side properties from our rent roll, drew over 200 enquiries in a single week. One of the properties went under offer quickly, but after the buyers withdrew, it was re-listed. Within a week, six new offers came through, and the property sold for 5% more than the original deal.

To put that into perspective, if the property had been $2 million, that’s an extra $100,000 in just one week.
